Hidden Struggle of High Achievers

Let’s keep it real for a minute

You ever walk into a room, onto a stage, or into a new role and think…

“What am I even doing here?”
“Who let me in?”
“They’re gonna find out I don’t belong.”

You know what that’s called?

Imposter syndrome.

And it’s more common than you think.

I’ve seen it in clients.
I’ve felt it myself.

In fact, the more accomplished you are, the louder that voice can get.
(Yeah, ironic right?)

It whispers that you’re a fluke. That your wins don’t count. That you’re just “lucky.”

But here’s the truth:
Feeling like an imposter doesn’t mean you are one.
It just means you’re growing.

So what do we do about it?

I’m not gonna lie to you and say imposter syndrome disappears forever. I don’t think it ever really does.

BUT… it can be managed.

Here’s how I coach people through it:

✅ Reframe your mindset.
Not “I don’t belong,” but “I’m learning and evolving.”
Big difference.

✅ Celebrate your wins.
Even the small ones.
Especially the small ones. This is something I’m CONSTANTLY working on.

✅ Talk to your people.
Community kills shame.
The moment you speak it out loud, it loses its power.

You’re not alone.
You’re not a fraud.
You’re just human—with goals, doubts, and a story worth telling.

And if you want to hear me go deeper on this check out this week’s podcast episode.

We’re not faking it till we make it—we’re facing it till we grow through it.
