LEADERSHIP IN STEM

I was going to talk about a framework of leadership and development this month, but instead I’m going to talk about why this newsletter is a week later than I would have liked. You probably didn’t notice, so I’m telling on my self, but oh well..

It’s for a very good reason. Last weekend, I had the opportunity to go to the 2023 LSMRCE (Louis Stokes Midwest Regional Center of Excellence) Conference in Chicagoland. It is dedicated to showcasing and developing underrepresented undergraduate and graduate students in STEM. It was a great time connecting with people I hadn’t seen last year and meeting new people as well.
