TAKING A BREAK

We just got through the holiday weekend of Labor Day, and I hope all of you got a chance to take a much needed break!

With that being said, you may have noticed, there’s no new episode this week. Don’t worry, new episode will be back next week!

In this hustle culture of overworking, side hustles, and building an empire, we can lose track of what matters the most.

Money and success are great, but if you don’t take care of yourself, none of it matters.

I’ve been more intentional over the last few months about making sure I’m taking care of myself first and for me that’s meant going to therapy and I’ve been open about that. I’ve made huge strides as I’ve been careful about who I let into my life and focused on prioritizing myself.

For you, it may look a little different, but I would recommend therapy for anyone who’s undergoing a major life change where that’s personally or professionally. Remember that if you don’t take care of yourself, you won’t be able to take of others.

This is a balance and you have to be mindful to not lean into selfishness. I would recommend reaching out to a trusted friend (who models this well), a mentor, or a coach.

Please feel free to reach out to me!

I’m by no means perfect, but I’m being very intentional about becoming the most incredible version of myself and i want help you do the same!

CONTENT CREATION HELP

Have you thought about starting your own podcast or creating content? Not sure where to begin? A lot of times we just need the tools to succeed. Check out the tools I use all the time to be successful in podcasting and content creation.

VIRTUAL PODCAST RECORDING: Whether you’re recording audio or video, this a great tool for higher quality than recording on zoom and there’s a free version to start!

PODCAST CLIP CREATION: This is a game changer simply copy the link from YouTube or Google Drive and now you have viral potential clips and it gives you a score as well.

MICROPHONE: You need a good sound for your content creation.

WEBCAM: Great webcam for good quality videos without breaking the bank with an expensive camera.

Disclaimer that I’m an affiliate for the above services, but I use them all the time and they’ve been a huge help! Any questions, let me know!
