FAILING OFTEN

Are you failing enough?

Why would you want to do that?

If you’re not failing at something, are you even trying?

There is no one who has ever achieved anything truly great that didn’t fail on the way there. Anyone in entrepreneurship knows this first hand, but having the mindset of failure not being something to be avoided but embraced is something I’ve been working on.

The pathway to success is paved to failure. I think back to learning about Thomas Edison as he discovered the light bulb. He “failed” thousands of times, but instead said every failure was a way that didn’t work and got him that much closer to success.

I’ve seen that firsthand with what I’ve done with IncrediPaul. I’ve done a lot things over the years and trying something new yet again with this Be Incredible Starter Pack. Maybe it’ll be successful, maybe I’ll learn something from it but regardless it’s bringing me closer to where I need to be.

I’m really passionate about leadership, but I know being the most incredible version of yourself as a young professional involves more than that. I have a couple of ideas around this and it’ll be revealed when the time is right, but for now I’ll keep trying, failing, learning then succeeding.

I had an incredible conversation about what it means to fail, learn, succeed and grow with Camille Smith in this week’s episode. She shared her story in STEM and how she founded an organization that’s changing the way people in STEM connect. Learn more by clicking the button or the YouTube link below!
