CLARITY IN LEADERSHIP
Do you know who you are as a leader?
Have you taken the time to reflect on this question or are you channeling someone else?
Until you become clear about your leadership, it’s going to be pretty hard to lead.. it’s like wearing shoes that are too big or too small.
It’ll be awkward, you may trip over yourself, people can sense something isn’t right
Things will be very uncomfortable..
Knowing who you are is more than simply what you do in your career. Too many times we define ourselves by our work but what happens when that’s gone?
For myself, I’m a son, brother, and a friend more than being a speaker, podcaster or coach.
It’s also important to understand your values as a leader.
Each title reveals a portion of you, but all those come together to embody who are and how you lead with your unique perspective. This helps us be more clear in our leadership, but we can’t uncover what we aren’t intentionally looking for.
In this episode, I talk to someone who knows a lot about self discovery and finding clarity in leadership. Julia Rock is a TedX speaker, coach and leadership evangelist, and she rocked the show! (pun intended)
