LEADING YOURSELF EFFECTIVELY
Have you ever thought about who the hardest person to lead is? The person that always seems to mess things up and doesn’t do quite what they say they’re going to do…
To find this person, all you need to do is look in the mirror!
The hardest person to lead is yourself.
How many times do we tell others the right thing to do but don’t follow our own advice??
In order to lead yourself, it’s important to make sure you’re firing on all cylinders, mentally, physically, and emotionally.
Life has been doing it’s thing lately and I got reconnected with therapy a couple of months ago and it has been extremely helpful to unpack some things and continue to move forward as the most incredible version of myself
As a black man, therapy can still have a stigma behind it which is why I wanted to share that I’m currently utilizing therapy to overcome things that I didn’t even realize were holding me back.
It’s easy to put up front and pretend you’ve got everything together, it takes a real leader to be transparent with what they’re working on. For me it’s specifically around family and relationships and learning that I don’t have to put myself last in order to make others happy.
Now that I’m aware of the tendencies, I can tackle it and be a more effective leader!
What’s on area of life where you’ve been struggling with?
Reach out to someone for help and challenge the beliefs you’ve been holding onto.
If you keep doing the same things, you’ll keep getting the same results.
Take action and do something new and be consistent and you can be incredible!

PODCAST CLIP CREATION: This is a game changer simply copy the link from YouTube or Google Drive and now you have viral potential clips and it gives you a score as well.
MICROPHONE: You need a good sound for your content creation.
WEBCAM: Great webcam for good quality videos without breaking the bank with an expensive camera.
