LESSONS FROM 2024
2024 is wrapping up and it was a long year but also went by very quickly at the same time. I learned a lot about myself and had an opportunity to flex my resiliency muscles and I’m excited for what 2025 brings because of the work I’ve put in over the last few years.
This year was a milestone for a couple reasons as I turned 30 back in April and celebrated 4 years of IncrediPaul® and my nonprofit: NALA(STEM) this year. For the IncrediPaul Leadership Podcast, I reached and exceeded 100 episodes and episode 103 comes out Monday which will put me at 50 episodes for 2024.
Not bad for only putting out 12 episodes when I started in 2022! Slowly been ramping up since then and really feel like I’m just getting started! Lots more happened and shameless plug for the last episode of 2024, EP 103 coming out on Monday, December 30 where I talk more about this.
I’ve already talked about about some of the hardship I’ve faced this year and frankly I’m leaving it in 2024. However, what I’ve learned is that we can’t control what happens to us, but we can always control how we respond to them. We can choose to react and get angry, bitter, upset and let it keep us down, or we can choose to respond and get better from the situation no matter how terrible it may seem.

The healing and growth I've experienced in this year has been incredible, pun intended! Also as a person of faith, my trust in Jesus has only grown through this season! I don't always know what my future holds but I know Who holds my future.
So as we wrap up 2024, what are you proud of, but also what did you overcome or are overcoming?
One thing is for sure is that I'm more passionate than ever about empowering young professionals in STEM to become the most incredible versions of themselves!
